Returns

Where the customer rejects the Goods as not being in accordance with the customer's requirement, the Intelligent Buildings Ltd. shall reserve the right to refund all or part of the original invoiced amount.


When the customer sends an item back to Intelligent Buildings Ltd (or, when Intelligent Buildings Ltd arranges for collecting from the customer), Intelligent Buildings Ltd. will process the returned item then notify the customer via e-mail of the refund.


The refund shall be in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within three weeks of Intelligent Buildings Ltd. receiving the returned item(s).

Goods Damaged in Transit

If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us within 7 days. If goods are visibly damaged on receipt, it's best to sign the delivery note accordingly and take photographs of the packaging prior to and after opening. Once the damaged goods have been received back to oureslves, we’ll issue a full refund according to the conditions laid out below.


If You Have Changed Your Mind


If you have changed your mind and you are a private customer (not applicable to business customers), then you are entitled to return the goods to us for a full refund on condition that you take reasonable care of the goods until they are returned to us. In particular this means that you will:


Items returned within the seven-day cooling off period.
Items returned after the seven-day cooling off period


Our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Warranty


The standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of delivery to the customer.


Intelligent Buildings Ltd. undertakes to honour the balance of the manufacturer’s warranty period for the goods supplied thereafter the period of 12 months (if it is greater than 12 months) in accordance with the terms and conditions laid out under the Manufacturer’s terms and conditions.


Intelligent Buildings Ltd. undertakes to replace or repair free of charge any components supplied against the Customer's order which in the opinion of Intelligent Buildings Ltd. became defective due to faulty material or bad workmanship within the standard warranty period.


Intelligent Buildings Ltd. warranty does not apply to the remedying of defects caused by ordinary wear and tear, accidents, misuse or neglect, adjustments or modifications by other than employees of Intelligent Buildings Ltd. or their accredited agents. Nor does the warranty imply any liability for damage arising directly or indirectly from any defect in the goods or delay to remedying any defects.


Specifically the Warranty does not apply to the remedying of defects caused by over-voltage caused by whatever means
